Genuine original long motor built to order.
Short motor: RG40004 / RG40024 with cylinder head supplied and fitted. Long Motor part no’s: RGL3786, RGL3832.
The assembled long engine is built to the most recent specification and may have improved internal design features when compared to the original engine. This means a new crankshaft pulley may be required when purchasing a short or long motor depending on your engine serial number.
As per Perkins 1100 series updates: engine models RE, RG, RJ, RR, RS, RT, NK, NL and NM, a new plain nosed crankshaft (Perkins part number 3131D123, kit number ZZ90237) replaces crankshaft (Perkins part number 3131D072, kit number ZZ90222).
For models RF, RH and RK, the new crankshaft (Perkins part number 3131D123, kit number ZZ90241) replaces crankshaft (Perkins part number 3131D071, kit number ZZ90214).
For models NH and NJ, the new crankshaft (Perkins part number 3131D122, kit number ZZ90241) replaces crankshaft (Perkins part numbers 3131D103, kit number ZZ90233).
A new main bearing kit (Perkins kit number T400002) is required with the new crankshaft. The new main bearing kit (T400002) replaces main bearing kit (Perkins kit number U5ME0026)
